Terms and Conditions of Sale

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) govern the purchase of products on the website https://soundshield.it/ (the “Site”), operated by Sound Shield S.r.l. (“Seller”, “We”), with registered office at Via I Maggio 33, 45030 Bosaro (RO), email info@soundshield.it.

By placing an order on the Site, the Customer (“You”, “Buyer”) fully accepts these Terms.

1. Scope of application

The Site sells physical products and ships to Italy and other European Union countries. These Terms apply to all purchases made through the Site, both by consumers and by parties acting in the course of professional activity.

2. Products, prices and availability

  • Prices shown on the Site include VAT, unless otherwise stated, and are expressed in Euros.
  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time; the price applied is the one shown at the time of order confirmation.
  • Products are available within the limits of existing stock. In case of unavailability after the order, we will inform you promptly, offering an alternative product or a full refund.

3. Order procedure

  1. Selection of products and addition to cart
  2. Entry of billing and shipping details
  3. Selection of payment method
  4. Order confirmation, which constitutes a binding contractual offer on your part
  5. Sending of an order confirmation email from us, which finalizes the sales contract

We recommend that you carefully check the details entered before confirming the order.

4. Payment

Payment is made exclusively through PayPal. The amount is charged at the time of order confirmation. We do not store any data relating to your payment method; such data is managed directly by PayPal according to its own terms and privacy policy.

5. Shipping and delivery

  • We ship to Italy and European Union countries.
  • Delivery times shown on the Site are estimated and not binding, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
  • The risk of loss or damage to products passes to you at the time of delivery to the designated carrier, subject to mandatory provisions regarding consumer protection.
  • Any shipping costs are clearly indicated before order confirmation.

6. Right of withdrawal

If you purchase as a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the product, without having to provide any reason, pursuant to Articles 52-59 of the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005).

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us by means of an explicit statement (email to info@soundshield.it) within the indicated period. The product must be returned intact, in its original packaging where possible, within 14 days of the withdrawal notification.

The refund (including standard shipping costs incurred for the initial shipment) will be made within 14 days of receiving the return, using the same payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed. Return shipping costs are your responsibility, except in the case of defective or non-conforming products.

The right of withdrawal is excluded in the cases provided for in Article 59 of the Consumer Code (e.g. personalized products, sealed for hygiene reasons and opened after delivery).

7. Legal guarantee of conformity

If you purchase as a consumer, products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity for 24 months from delivery, pursuant to Articles 128-135 of the Consumer Code. In case of lack of conformity, you have the right to repair or replacement of the product free of charge, or, alternatively, to a price reduction or termination of the contract.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the order. We are not liable for delays or non-performance due to force majeure.

9. Personal data

The processing of personal data provided during purchase is governed by our Privacy Policy.

10. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. For disputes with consumers, the court of the consumer’s place of residence or domicile has jurisdiction, if located in Italy, pursuant to Article 66-bis of the Consumer Code. The right of consumers residing in another EU country to bring proceedings before their national court in accordance with applicable private international law rules remains unaffected.

Pursuant to EU Regulation 524/2013, you can use the European Commission’s ODR platform for online dispute resolution: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/

12. Changes to these Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes do not apply to orders already confirmed before the date of their publication.
